The Filanet InterJak 200 802.11b (http://www.filanet.com/) supports firewire/1394 attached storage devices, as well as wireless BSS access point and station modes of operation (for wireless LAN or WAN applications). The iPod has not been specifically qualified, but I believe it should work ok as a sbp2 storage device. I'm not sure which filesystem is used on the iPod (the InterJak supports FAT16/32, ISO9660, or EXT2 filesystems). BTW, I wrote and maintain the 1394 sbp2 storage driver support for Linux (http://linux1394.sourceforge.net), upon which the 1394 support is based.
