The antenna(s) is easily removed after popping four screws on the case exposing an MMCX (I think) connector. I have some pigtails at the office and can check tomorrow.
I have connections over 1km with that device and the original antennas inside a house and not in a window. I have tried both panel antennas and parabolics but I have yet to run into a case where either was necessary. Obviously, I like the device. Wish I could get it working in Linux. Our AP is at maximum power.
