Subject: [BAWUG] Free cafe's in san francisco

hey all

i was curious if anyone here is aware of any 'free' 802.11b cafes here in
the bay area. basically - somewhere u can go, get a nice lunch/coffee, and
do some work for a few hrs.

im currently in the middle of a move and wont have net access for a few
weeks so i need somewhere to get link from. there used to be a few free
services, but now they all have seemed to be converted to commercial
services like T-Mobile, Surp&Sip, or HereUare. Its unfortunate really since
most of these services are priced pretty unreasonably ($.15/min) to do any
'real work'. T-Mobile seems to be the best deal (1500 locations / $50/mo
unlimited) tho it requires a 1yr contract.

any alternatives?

thanks in advance.
