This isn't really a wireless problem, but it is with a wireless device, so I will post it here and apologies if it is not applicable <sorry>
I have a Cisco Aironet 340 Base station w/modem that I am using to get my home wireless computers access to the internet. I use the internal modem since there is no broadband access here in Gilroy. The wireless part seems to work fine (I can copy files between wireless computers), but when it is being bridged to the modem interface, sometimes (at least once per 10 minutes or so) it just stops transmitting packets for some time period (like 2-5 minutes or so). I have tried dialing out on the same line with my laptop and desktop modems with no problems, and I have tried three different ISP's with the same results. I have also had this box RMA'd three times and the same thing happened on all of them! I called Cisco support for this problem and they said; 1. they have never seen this before. and/or 2. The problem is with my ISP or phone line. So, I my question is not what's happening (although I will take any thoughts that come up) but has anyone seen this problem before or anything like it, if so was there a problem opened with Cisco TAC, and if so would you be comfortable giving me the case number (outside of the list of course) so I can beat Cisco a bit Dan Strohl [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
