Your diagram isn't clear to me. Do you mean:
 PubIP DHCPSERV PrivIP
DSL --- router --- switch
                  / \ \ \
                 / \ \ \
  (DHCPCLIENT) / \ \ \
 (DHCPSERV) router LAN
                |
              WAP11
Wireless clients must have Dhcp issued address to access the WAP 11
A static IP would seem to allow one access to either subnet but not both?

When I look at the lan from the wireless client side using Network
neighborhood I do not see any machines on the LANside.
I am not able to ping the first router or any machine on the wired side.

I understandthe principle of the NAT type router is the 192.xx.xx.xx address
are NON routable.
If I am on a different non routable IP on the wireless side, how can I get
to the non routable addresses on the lan side?

In which case, unless there are some strict filtering rules on the
WAP11-connected router, clients coming through the WAP11 could talk to
your LAN.
