<delurk> Has anyone tested the new DWL-900AP+ (TI 22Mbit chipset) in "wireless client" mode with other 802.11b Access Points such as AP-500's, AP-1000's, Zcomax XI-1500's or any other 802.11b compliant AP's on the market that are "non-Atmel" and/or "non-TI" based Access Points?
Any issues you've noticed? Outdoor distance limitations, etc? What is the max range anyone has achieved with 2 these units? We're looking to push 12+ miles. Anyone have the Sensitivity Specs for the DWL-900AP+ or TI ACX100 Chipset? I'm unable to find the specs in any manuals, or even when contacting D-link directly. And last but not least, anyone know of an approximate release date on the DWL-810 Ethernet Client? I'm hearing mid to late July from D-link. Oh, ok, one more question. Has anyone got a copy of the "wireless client" firmware for the Atmel based AP's? I hear its out there, in testing, and working, but I'm unable to find a copy anywhere. I'm VERY interested in this firmware if anyone has it. </delurk> Thanks, Judd -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
