Raj,
You could plant a nocat gateway with two NICs in between the DSL gateway 
and the linksys WAP 11. This would act as a chokepoint. You could also 
run the Nocat GW with one wired and one wireless card and run that 
machine as an ad-hoc base unit with no need for an external access 
point. In both cases, you could run the DHCPD on the nocat box.
