While debugging some problems with an 802.11 WLAN, I noticed that there are
several information elements that manufacturers transmit that are not
defined by the 802.11 standard. In Beacon frames in particular, Agere sends
information element number 128 (0x80), Cisco sends number 133 (0x85), and
Symbol sends 173 (0xad). Does anyone have a decode for the content of these
elements?
