One method which seems towork for me is to use a laptop and or an external
antenna and use this as a signal strength meter. If you can link from the
laptop the Bridge should also work.

Subject: [BAWUG] site survey up a tree needs single-handed meter

Due to some large redwood trees in my Campbell backyard,
I lack line of site to another AP. I would like to measure
signal strength with a small single-handed meter like a Sencore
up the tree with line of site. I would like to borrow or rent
the meter for a partial day with a deposit. If the signal
is satisfactory, would this be a legal installation?
