I have 2 linksys access points and been getting great signal, Netstumbler and Orinoco client say so...
But the performance is another story.... It shows 5 green bars and about -60 on netstumbler. But when trying to surf I get about 92kbps to 500kbps, the range to varied and sometimes The performance is nothing.. Signal, just no internet connection... Has anyone else has this kind of symptoms.. Is there a cure for this? Plus, I've noticed, that when I have the same ssid it confuses the Orinoco cards and they Switch between the two access points, this is bad since one is not pointing at me and I'm Getting a reflective signal strong enough to make the stupid Orinoco switch. Does anyone else Have two access points with the same ssid and have this issue or is it just better to have Two different ssid's as well as two different channels.
