Yes, something like that...

I live in Fremont, and am doing similarly.  Currently my AP is powered off, as I don't 
have it set up outside my firewall, yet.  Once I get this done, I will be providing 
wifi internet access to a $$$ly challenged family near my house.

Of course: use the AP as a bridge of sorts where you
have wireless input via antenna then re-broadcast via
AP's wireless signal output.  Then I will be able to
be truly wireless again and just use my pcmcia card
alone to pick the APs output signal.  Am I correct?

Also, I'm in the 94102 zip zone at Hermann and
Buchanan.  I consume and don't provide but it may be
possible to use my roof as a repeater node or
something.
