Who can recommend the best MMCX antenna to go with an Aironet card? Ideally I'd like to start with the best antenna designed for a laptop. Small and portable, mounted on the top/back of the screen with a short pigtail, and occasionally mounted higher up above the computer with a longer pigtail. I might buy a less-portable / more-powerful model later on.
I decided to spoil myself and order an Aironet 352, MMCX version. (Un)fortunately, the reseller was so quick in delivering it that I have no antenna to go with it. :) This is my first card with a custom antenna and I want to do it right. I'm still something of a fascinated novice in the realm of radio. Finally, I'd like to request that someone post to the list information on the next BAWUG meeting. I only ask because I've already searched bawug.org exhaustively. I'm really looking forward to going to my first. I'm relatively new to the Bay Area, but not to tech.
