A 22 Mbps implementation of 801.11b has been done by a number of companies, but the data rate is not supported between vendors. Thus a D-Link 22 Mbps AP very likely won't do full-speed with a USR 22 Mbps card. They do, however, both support vanilla 802.11b if they're labeled as complying with the "WiFi" standard.
I don't believe that 802.11g has been ratified by the full IEEE 802 committee yet, and since the 802.11 website is often suffering from JavaWeirdness(tm) I wasn't able to check for certain. However, no press releases were found that stated full 801 ratification; had this happened I would have expected companies like Texas Instruments to crow about it on PR Wire. ...dtw -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Douglas R.
