Although I've gotten a few updates over the past months most were for
deleting nodes. I've actually been hoping to replace the list with
something automated. When there were only a few places I could check
them out to make sure they are working, but I gave up on that about the
same time when I gave up on the list.

For a year now I've heard that somebody or another has something
almost ready to launch, and those projects simply have not delivered
what was hoped they would. If I had the time I would start a project
that would list access points that the _owner_ registers, and let the
community of people trying to use the access point rate it. I
personally find the lists on site gathered from war driving creepy.
It's like finding a list on the web of people who leave their blinds
open at night, and I really don't want to support that kind of thing.

So if anyone cares to start a project to do this, or carry forward
any of the existing porjects drop me a note. I can lend support and
give you names.

Cheers,
Cliff
