Howdy BAWUG'ers- Some of you may know that I've been involved with the MIT/Stanford Venture Lab (VLAB) for a while. It's a non-profit hosted by Stanford's Graduate School of Business to serve as a resource uniting entrepreneur and venture communities. VLAB hosts events monthly (during the school year) pertaining to areas perceived as 'hot' in the tech venture world, and I am co-chairing this month's 802.11-themed event being held the evening of October 15. One neat thing about the VLAB events is seeing the geeks alongside the suits and watching them agree, disagree, and trying to make sense of it all...
I think this event promises to be great-- we'll have Vernier as the presenting company, Cisco (sort of a competitor, perhaps to stir things up), a VC moderating, and a few other excellent participants. Would love to see some of your familiar faces and names there, certainly the networking aspect will be fun :) Details at the following link; reg encouraged as it may well fill to capacity: http://vlab.org/204.cfm?eventID=25 -Ken -------------------------------------------- Kenneth Berger LogX Technologies 350 Union Street, Suite 520 San Francisco, California 94133 +1 415 982 4414 (direct) +1 415 533 5300 (GSM mobile) E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: http://logxtech.com -------------------------------------------- -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
