Great in the fact that shows how up against the wall GSM and all it's
upgrades are. Qualcomm had it right; CDMA2000 is the way to go, but since
GSM is based on a TDMA network, a complete equipment revamp is required.
W-CDMA keeps failing because NTT can't get it right and follow in
Qualcomms lead, and is just a tack on service to GSM.
So we'll see long delays until it really is proven that GSM and it's
future bretheren cannot stay on TDMA.

Only good thing for ATT is that when most everyone else goes to CDMA,
they'll be able to buy all the old equipment and hang out even longer.

sigh.
