Hello all, great list!

I recently setup a ~1300' link using 2 - WAP11s (v1.1,
firmware 1.4i? I believe) and 2 - 13dbi patches. One
was in Access Point mode and the other AP Client
mode. All worked well.

I moved one of the APs and at the same time decided
to try swap the modes of the APs. But for some reason
I couldn't connect to one of the APs using the ATMEL
tool or Linksys' snmp tool (Access Point not found).

So I tried the USB config utility (v1.7d.2.9). When
I plug the USB cable in it tries to load the driver
but blue screens (Windows 2000 Pro). Exception mode not
handled... and it references either the file BridDFU.sys
or BridDFU.inf.

I have tried completely uninstalling, rebooting,
reinstalling, tried another computer, etc. So it appears
to be a problem within the AP. How can I reset the AP
if I can't connect to it? I've tried powering it down
for a minute or so.

Linksys Tech support stumbled through their script and
decided I needed to send it back (it's under warranty).
I would prefer not to be down that long If I have any
other options!

Any ideas appreciated... and thanks in advance.

Willi
