if you run a continuous ping test you can test for stability...
here's what I do:
from a client on one side of the link type:
ping 'remote IP address' -t -w 100
this runs a continuous ping test.
look for times to be contant and steady with no lost packets. I'd be very
interested to hear how many Ms you get back and forth across that kind of
distance. This is just my technique... I adjust the antenna while the test
is running and look for stability in there.
good luck.

Subject: [BAWUG] WAP11 2.2 tips?

I just setup a 7mile bridge using 2 WAP11 2.2s. The link is up and working
but I want to try to get the signal power as optimized as I can. Does
anyone have any recommendations on how I can do this? The WAP11 2.2 does
not come with a signal meter of any type. I have asked around and cannot
find anyone that I know who has a spectrum analyzer.
