I'm in an East Bay Marina and there is a good access point on the other side of the marina. It's about 1200-1400 ft. away outdoors. I had a Linksys WPC11 pc card and didn't pick up a thing. Then I got the Linksys WUSB11 ver. 2.6 usb and located it half way up my mast (2 10' usb ext.) and I can pick up the access point, but the access point location is near the maximum stated range of the built in antenna of the unit (1500').
So, my question: Is there a easy way or way to increase my range by attaching another antenna to the Linksys WUSB11 to bring in a stronger signal from that access point? Thanks... __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
