Hi Folks:
A small student group (about five of us, all in the Bay area) are interested in deploying a public access wireless network in (a test environment) in a couple of Asian cities. We are trying to
understand the biggest issues faced (in terms of signal degradation, access, security etc.).
I am told that some people in this mailing list have set up such a network in Palo Alto and perhaps other bay area cities. I would like to have a short conversation with those people about the issues and difficulties you faced.
I would be happy to report back to this forum with whatever we uncovered.
Thanks.
Sivaram
