Description
Overall responsibility for the entire product life cycle of an enterprise-level wireless(802.11)software application in a very exciting high growth space.
Job Duties for Director Positions
�h Interface with potential customers to gather product requirements and establish acceptance criteria.
�h Perform competitive analysis and research customer��s needs.
�h Define detailed product roadmap.
�h Conceptualize and drive the product lifecycle.
�h Work with talented engineering, marketing and business development teams to define product functionality, and release schedules.
�h Plan and lead alpha, beta and G.A rollouts.
�h Lead marketing efforts and documentation processes as part of the development cycle.
�h Drive the business case which will include product strategy, positioning, pricing etc.
General Requirements
�h 8 + years total industry experience in high-tech software sector.
�h 5+ years in product management and/or product marketing management - leading at least two full cycles of successful chip-level and device level embedded networking and security products, preferably products that were targeted to enterprise and to SOHO/consumer markets.
�h Deep knowledge of RTOS, embedded, VxWorks, Linux, ucLinux, GPL, security concepts and protocols, networking protocols and networking setups in enterprises. Knowledge of specific 802.11 networking and security advanced features and standards is a plus.
�h Demonstrated ability to work with a team to rapidly produce prototypes and iterations on different platforms.
�h System level understanding of large computer system complexities.
