I know this looks pretty similiar to the guts of a wusb11 version 2.6 and in
there you just solder to the d4 or d5 pads...
you can easily test with an antenna from a wap11 with a cut pigtail attached
and simply touch the contacts while it is plugged in and the config utility
is opened and reading the signal.  you'll see a good boost when you get it
right.

that cut pigtail could be permanently soldered to the board if you lined it
up right...
