Hello S,

aside from that it limits usability, as the current system with
NodeDB sends out probes every 3 months by email to check on the
availability of nodes, rather then blindly accepting they still
exist... Too many complaints about emails sent out going unanswered so
the database was setup to automatically try and determine dead
nodes...
