[BAWUG] Ugate MaxGate 3300 access point. I got some questions, maybe someonecould help.

I have Ugate MaxGate 3300 access point with firmware Version 1.2 Release 04.
1. I know Ugate killed this product line, but is there any unofficial patch or something to fix some of those daily lock-ups?
2. Is there any way to limit the access point to 1-2Megs, so I have more reliable link?
