I used to work for a bluetooth software company. Neet stuff you can do with
that phone and a headset. The Bluetooth protocal stack accepts modules
called profiles that are ratified by the Bluetooth SIG.
One of the modules is called Headset and allows wireless connection to a
headset from the phone. Another profile that is usefull is the PAN profile
that allows a laptop to connect wireless through the phone out to the
internet via dialup.
It's fun stuff and doesn't get in the way of 802.11b too much. We had 30+
bluetooth devices in the building and my Linksys WAP11 could still
communicate internet stuff no problem. It does make long transfers of large
files slow and sometimes disconnects with that many bluetooth devices.
