Im all ways weary of linksys, dlink, and netgear whenever they get a new product out the door even if the standard was passed all ready its just their nature to rush products out with issues and bad support options. But never the less this is why I figure I get every report I can from you guys and any one else who is looking to go to the new standard.
But any way I was bugging Demarc if they were to make a 802.11g version of their current 802.11b pc card they got back to me said that there is one in the works! But of course it will be a few months (3 to 6). Honestly I cant wait hehe. - Scott Illjes Little can be done by means of imagination. If you really must, beware of anything that comes out of the low end companies (Linksys, D-Link, Netgear, SMC) as a first release. These guys are in such a hurry to rush to market, they basically beta test through retail. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Illjes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, January 03, 2003 3:36 PM Subject: [BAWUG] 802.11g Well linksys is shipping its Wireless G product line and I really want to go to this standard my only problem is that I have been super happy with Demarc Tech's pc card and I want a wireless G card that will compare with its compatibilities and power. Since this is all new id love to hear any reports of hardware as every one starts to obtain them as they are being shipped. - Scott Illjes Little can be done by means of imagination.
