Am I nuts, or is anybody else thinking of this..

Living in the suburbs, I own my house.

I'm thinking of cutting a BIG hole in the roof, for multiple
purposes:

- a collector, for tubular sunlight pipe into the bathroom,
- mast for TV / FM antenna and WiFi antenna,
- a couple more WiFi patch antennas ( inconspicuosly,
maybe around the base of the thing.

I think this could be spectacularly ugly if it wasn't
done right. But maybe, it might not look toooo bad.
And when I move, at least, some of the antennas
could be taken down and the sunlight collector
would be value-enhancing....

Thinking, maybe, locating something like this at the peak
of the roof..

I wonder if something like this would have commercial appeal,
if I started fabricating it for other people. Probably, there is already
a metal or plastic box for this on the market.... what if it has the
WiFi radios and router all preassembled in an integrated unit?

The homeowner has the risk, they are sawing a big hole in
the roof... but they get the benefits of the sun pipe, and a
STRONG internally-anchored antenna mast. Then, whoever
produces this thing gets to sell them radio upgrades evry
3-4 years. And maybe, some neighborhoods start "standardizing"
on them...
