I know its less that 12 Volts
I was going to try poe for this install but its
long 135 feet of cat five for a tall tower, I took it apart and got the specs on
the dc to dc chip and I think it was 35 or 40 max dc, figured great gave it 12v
and now no more wireless, the router part still works, more than likely the part
powered buy the chip I found. Me thinks there might be two
dc to dc converters but didn't notice another one. It would be great if up
the voltage like you can for the wet11's you can run them on a long strand of
cat5, low power consumption as well though. Anyone else give this a try?
Might have to roll my own dc to dc at the end of the cat5 for it, its a little
tougher because its more than 1 amp, can't one chip
it.
