OK, so I go up to a Surf and Sip place on Polk and try to connect. Signal strength 100% but still no SSID; nothing in Site Survey. Tried both cards. Zilch.
A while back I went there using old Tecra notebook with same Linksys card and got the S&S SSID and could connect. So it isn't the card.
