I recently acquired a LinkSys WPC11 Ver.3 NIC and it does not co-operate with my D-Link 713P AP. My Win2K client can establish network connectivity using the WPC11 but the client inevitabily hangs and I am forced to reset my laptop. During reboot, if the WPC11 is still engaged, my laptop will not boot (appears to be stuck on loading the NTLDR). I searched D-Link and LinkSys's website for known issues but uncovered nothing. I suspect there is a compatibility problem even though the "Wi-Fi" symbol is visible on the packaging.
