Does anyone have plans for or know where I can buy cheaply a simple
RF signal strength meter that works up into the 2.4 gigahertz range?
Basically, this is just to verify that RF is present.. not to do site
surveys or anything like that.. It wouldn't have to discriminate
between stations so much as simply give a linear, uncalibrated
indication of the RF density in an area..
This would allow me to answer some questions about how antennas are
functioning, etc..
I can't afford any of the (IMO incredibly overpriced) test equipment
I see for professionals..
