And (if you haven't already looked) http://www.personaltelco.net has
a load of information.

Also take a look at http://seattlewireless.net/ in particular where
they describe different 'classes' of Nodes...

I'm sure there is much to talk about and it would be a pleasure.
You will however have an incredibl resource in the list archives of BAWUG.
I doubt if any one or two phone conversations could communicate the vast
information available in these archives and much of the info is local.
If you scanned these archives for your topics then you could speak to the
members who have done exactly what you want to do.

Welcome

Subject: [BAWUG] Setting up wireless network in Concord/Antioch area

Hello all!

Myself and a group of fellow radio amateurs are meeting this Saturday
about setting up a
wireless network in the Concord and Antioch areas. What I am hoping
that I could get in
contact with some others in the Bay Area. Rather than reinvent the
wheel I am hoping I can
discuss on the phone the problems and their solutions that others
have come up with.
Not so much tech support but just chatting about what others have
done.
So if any one is interested in hearing about what we want to do and
can offer some advice
please email me.

Thanks!

Jeff
