Hi,
I need help setting my internet connection sharing wireless network.
I have just purchased a BEFW11S4 ver 2.0 (wireless access point router)
from linksys with 2 WUSB11 ver 2.6 (wireless USB adapters).
The configuration is :

My ADSL connection is 750Kbps downstream/128upstream
The BEFW11S4 is connected to the internet via ADSL modem (SAMSUNG) using
PPPoE.
My PC (Win XP) is using one of the WUSB11 configured to get it,s IP from
the DHCP server on the BEFW11S4.
My neighbor's PC (win98SE.) is using the same configuration
Situation :
------------
The WAN connection (BEFW11S4 - ADSL - ISP) seems to be working good.
When I log to the BEFW11S4 I can see it is connected and has it's IP &
DNS addresses from the ISP.
When I try to connect from the XP PC (which is right next to the
BEFW11S4) I get a poor speed (~18kb)
When I am wired to to the BEFW11S4 through one of it's Ethernet ports it
works fine.
When I try to connect from the Win98SE PC (which is right across the
street ~30m ) I don't an internet connection at all.
Important : both PCs indicate good - excellent signal quality all the
time and 11M connection speed !!!.
Both PCs has an IP addresses from the pool at the
BEFW11S4 DHCP server.
Questions:
------------
is there a problem with my network configuration ?
how come the signal quality is good and I still get a poor internet
speed (if any) ?
any suggestions will be most appreciated.
