I recently switched ISP's to a local wireless ISP and am experiencing a lot of packet loss. The packet loss seems to occur at random times, sometimes the connection is solid with a 0-1% packet loss and sometimes it goes as high as 25-50% packet loss. When they came out to do an alignment it looked like there was a lot of noise at their site. I'm not sure how far away I am from their AP but I think it's about 7 miles. I was wondering if getting a amp would solve my packet loss? and if so what type of amp should I get?
