I want information on the following aspects.
1. How many clients can AP support at a maximum ? How does that differ
with respect to SOHO solutions and Enterprise level AP solutions ?
What are the factors that decide, the number of WLAN clients that can
be supported by an AP, to give optimum throughputs (performance) ?
2. What are the actual throughput values of WLAN clients and APs ? Every
product sheet specifies "high performance - 11mbps". They really do not
specify the
throughput values. As far as I know the 11mbps that is claimed is of
the Radio module without the DCF of 802.11 MAC. With CSMA of DCF of 802.11
there is a
drop of this performance (throughput).
3. How does the performance drop with increase in the number of clients ?
