IF it's in repeater mode will it still act as its own AP??  Or will it
be just a repetition of another one??

You need some cheaps DWL-900AP+ they are 22 Mbits and now with the new
firmware 4X, they rules and have REPEATER option so you can use it on
A----((B))----C. Repeater mode of D-Link is the best you can see, they
are
just $75. I have 3 of them.
