$50 compact USB adapter (no opening up cases), I think you can use an
extension cable to place the adapter where it will get better reception.

Subject: [BAWUG] Wireles PCI card, under $60? What should I get?

I am tired of running cables for intern workstations. So, I want to put
in
wireless PCI cards, so those workstations would be on WAP11 like the
rest of the
laptops. Any suggestions on what I should get. Highest output power for
least $?
I looked at Dlink DWL-520 and Linksys WMP11. Anything else I should look
at?
Also, I have several Cisco Aironet 340 PC cards that laptops use and I
will be
upgrading to SMC2532WB (high-powered ones), is there a cheap PCI adapter
that
would work with Cisco Aironet cards?
