Continuing a tradition, we'll be meeting @ the O'Reilly Emerging Technology 
Conference <http://conferences.oreilly.com/etcon/> in Santa Clara this 
month.  April 24th @ ~7:30pm.  I don't know which room, but it should be 
marked.  Sam Leffler (Errno Consulting) will be speaking about Atheros &

shortly you'll be able to use a variety of 802.11a/b/g devices with your 
Linux, FreeBSD, or other open source system!

This talk will describe work to provide open source support for 
Atheros-based wireless networking devices.  Whether you want to use your 
laptop as a client or build your own AP you'll have what you need.  This 
software combines the work done in NetBSD and FreeBSD to provide a 
device-independent 802.11 protocol layer with extensive device support to 
enable use of Atheros 5210, 5211, and 5212 parts.
