Hi, My Linksys WAP11 started transmitting in a highly erratic behavior two weeks ago. The signal level as monitored simultaneously by the wireless card in my notebook and a wireless card in a desktop rapidly switch on and off together. The signal quality follows the power level. Occasionally the system will work for a day with no problems, at other times it does not work at all, and then suddenly start working. This happens even if the notebook is right next to the WAP11 antennas.
I have not been able to find any information on the web that describes this behavior, nor any information about how the WAP11 can fail. Before buying a new wireless access point, probably not Linksys given their support, I was wondering if someone could tell me that the WAP11 is failing and that this problem is not being caused by outside interference.
