Hi list, I know that many of the members of this list are FreeBSD Users because Bay Area Research Wireless Network BARWN's AP uses BSD as its operating system. A few of the members have asked me at the last BAWUG meeting about the next FreeBSD Users Group meeting so here is the information:
The Bay Area FreeBSD Users Group next meeting will be held at Peter's Cafe in Millbrae. This meeting will be held on Thursday, July 10th. at 7:00pm. Our Topic FreeBSD 4.8 and 5.1 Installation Paul Fronberg will be leading us into a discussion on how to install the latest versions of FreeBSD 4.8 and 5.1. We will pay special attention to configuring XFree86 and getting the optimal system settings. Paul Fronberg is a frequent speaker for BAFUG as well as other user groups and conferences. He is very technical and is always helpful in answering questions. Two months ago, Paul did a very technical detail discussion for BAFUG on IP which has lead to his return on other technical topics. Special appearance by members of FreeBSDMall.com Please visit the http://www.bafug.org for directions to Peter's Cafe in Millbrae. Thank you.
