I wasnt expecting a reply so soon. i was out walking in the city. anyway!
i will probably go with a cantenna, since i can get both the antenna and the pigtail same shipping.
i went on fab corp, the prices were good, but the cheapest antenna was a 5.5db gain, figured might as well buy something that performs well now. i could have not bought an antenna and figure something out myself. but my lack of advanced education prevents me from designing my own. and the lack of easy supply parts, its more complicated to build from a schematic from the net. anyway. i know cantennas work. period.
anyway.
hmmm, for what comes to good golf courses. i must admit i have NO CLUE!!! the only golf experience i have ressembles more baseball at a driving range. but i will ask.
when are you coing? and what type of activities apart from golf interest you?
