Hi guys, We are making a proposal for a CCTV system in a club. We want to put 16 D-Link DCS-1000W cameras in a fairly small venue (~50x50m), meaning they are all within range of each other (footprint wise).
My question is this. If the 16 are split onto 3 separate channels (1, 6, 11), will the interference disrupt communications enough to lose QoS for the CCTV? I imagine it requires near max throughput, at default settings there is 320x240, medium compression and 30fps. I am not sure of the exact throughput required for this. Does anyone have experience with this? Would it be better to use 4 channels? (I am UK based so I would use 1, 5, 9, 13) Cheers, Rob -- general wireless list, a bawug thing <http://www.bawug.org/> [un]subscribe: http://lists.bawug.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
