If you really have to have splash page, an easy way to do this, at greater expense, is to get an Orinoco AP-2500 which has this ability (and a bunch more) built in. About $500. Another way is to get MikroTik software for $240 and install that on an old PC or Soekris box. A little more hassle to configure (e.g. see http://www.sdwug.org/proj/ConfigMikroTik), but everything is built in.
