Belden 9913F7 is the next closest, and may be preferable alternative (not as stiff, easier to work with)
Anything smaller would not be acceptable over a couple of feet (someone posted the loss characteristics - small is ugly for RF.) Going bigger - LMR-600 - is better, if you can find connectors and appropriate tools.

I have some free time today and will go to the addison after this course. i looked at their onlie inventory (UGH! PDFs!) ... they dont SEEM to have lmr-400 ... if that was to be the case ... what would be the best alternative?
