One thing to keep in mind that a RP-* connector that has a male pin is
actually a female and a female is actually a male. Think, what was this
connector before the gender change ;)

I recently had this problem with Hyperlink (served me right for buying from
these clowns) where I purchased a bunch of RP-TNC Male patch antennas. When
I received them they were all female. I called them and they said "We don't
care what the standard is or what RF Industries or AMP sells them as. 90%
of our customers get it backwards so they must be right. You're in the 10%
so wrong."

Needless to say I don't think I'm ever buying anything from them again.
