I would recommend the proxim silver abg card. It covers all the spectrums
out there and the utility on it is good.

Subject: [BAWUG] Which 802.11g PC card to get???

Hello everyone!

I've just converted my home network to 802.11g and I
am now looking for a PC card for my notebook.

Can anyone here recommend an 802.11g PC card for me?
I want one with decent range and throughput out of the
box.

FWIW, I just wired up (unwired?) my home with four
WBR-G54's from Buffalo Tech. They are basically doing
WDS-bridging between each other with one acting as a
router for my DSL. Things like ReplayTV streaming and
DVArchive on a laptop are amazing with 802.11g.

Thanks in advance for the recommendations.
