I have yet to find anyone who had had great luck with 802.11b and FHSS 2.4GHz phones. Your best bet is to purchase a 5GHz or 900MHz phone, or move the wifi to 5GHz and buy the siemens 2.4GHz gigaset. -----Original Message----- From: Apollo (Carmel Entertainment) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, October 10, 2003 10:52 AM ditto. never mix products in the same band. it just causes headaches try a 900Mhz phone system. the benefit of the 2.4GHz phone systems is highly over-rated IMHO -dan To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [BAWUG] What 2-line 2.4Ghz phones coexist with 802.11B? Will freq. hopping kill my network? I just installed Dlink DI-614+ at one of my bosses home office. Everything i fine, but now she want to put in 2 line 2.4Ghz wireless phone system (she is looking at Siemens Gigaset and some others). I am afraid that FHSS will kill the WLAN in her home, since those damn phones hop frequencies 8 times per second. Anyone have a working wireless phone setup that coexists with WLAN?
