Can we start now planning for a December meeting? Third Thursday (usual slot) maybe?

Cheers,
Cliff

Also, I got a msg from Michael Ray, saying the admin people at SFSU
weren't able to approve a room in time (Thanks for trying, Michael! :)

Sorry kids, I tried. But the scheduling person was out all week and
room reservations ground to a halt. The initial paperwork was available
Friday afternoon which had to be taken to /another/ office, signed for,
then brought back to the first office (ha!). Bureaucracy. However,
given a wee bit more lead time (like 2 weeks+) some pretty fancy meeting
space can be had courtesy of the Unix Users Group at SFSU (sfuug.org)

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know, that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion."
