These have been out now for at least a few months. My roommate has them, and out of the box they seem to work as described. The charger has a large power adapter so its not as small as my LP4000N charger from ripvan100.com. My charger fills my 1600mah Sanyo AAs in about 90 minutes. My only other comment on the 15-minute Rayovac cells is that they may have a lower long-term durability (i.e. # of charge/discharge cycles they can handle), but I haven't any evidence that directly supports this.
