I used(+) one of these in a dual boot Linux/W98se box.  After finding
a good driver, Linux was OK, aside from sometimes needing the USB
controller bounced to get the WiFi adapter running.  I think there
may have been issues with my particular setup, an old Slot A
motherboard.  On the W98se side, after I added the driver it would
only boot in safe mode.  Grr...

+The Siemens 2426 AP/router I was using died for reasons that remain
unclear, so the PC is back to the hardwired NIC now.  I suspect the
AP lost its mind during a power outage, but there's an embedded
PCMCIA 802.11b NIC that is probably just fine, waiting for a weekend
project...
